چکیده
The use of zeotropic mixtures in well-designed heat pump cycles enables considerable performance improvements. Temperature glide matching the exchange processes and recovery expansion losses by internal decrease exergy destruction yield higher cycle performances. A case study for supply to district heating is presented, indicating increases COP from 4.3 a pure fluid standard 5.2 mixture with optimised exchange. As these improvement potentials are difficult quantify conventional advanced analysis, new approach was suggested. For deriving meaningful benchmark optimisation, distinguished into contribution describing irreversibilities respective components operating an ideal working design another resulting being non-ideal. In addition, related COP, enabling intuitive interpretation exergy-based analyses.

An exergy analysis of tubular solar-thermal receivers with different working fluids
Tubular solar thermal receivers suitable for central towers are modelled using energy and exergy analysis, in a way that allows individual inspection of the the irreversibilities associated with the various receiver heat transfer processes occurring. The model was used to compare the behaviour of four working fluids: molten salt (NaNO3/KNO3), liquid sodium metal, supercritical carbon dioxide, a...
متن کاملExergy Analysis of a Ground-Coupled Heat Pump Heating System with Different Terminals
In order to evaluate and improve the performance of a ground-coupled heat pump (GCHP) heating system with radiant floors as terminals, an exergy analysis based on test results is performed in this study. The system is divided into four subsystems, and the exergy loss and exergy efficiency of each subsystem are calculated using the expressions derived based on exergy balance equations. The avera...
